For many years now, I can’t imagine drumming with any other drumsticks than BALBEX.

When i discovered Balbex for the first time, i was impressed about the variety of models and the quality of the sticks. That’s why i use them as i am still impressed and inspired what they do as a company!

The first drumsticks I tried were Balbex. In the meantime, I tried other brands, but I always came back to Balbex. Balbex drumsticks meet my requirements exactly!

I simply have a soft spot for them. They were the first drumsticks I ever bought and I felt from the start that this combination worked for me. They are world-class drumsticks and when combined with their professional approach to the customer, there is nothing else for me to deal with.

Connection – I can play both jazz and other styles with them. They fit perfectly in the hand, are well balanced and have a long service life. For me, these are top-level sticks that are a joy to play with!

My model is basically based on the KS Fusion model, only it is narrowed earlier to relieve the tips. It has a round head for precise articulation on the cymbal. The name Supersonic came to my mind as soon as I tried the latest version of my model. The drumstick’s reactions are really fast, the rebound returns it to the hand perfectly. This feature helps me immensely, because in my playing I very often use sixteenth notes or sextole shuffles in my right hand on the hi-hat, as well as ghost notes in combination with accents on the snare drum. The drumstick is long and thick enough to give a really strong blow, and at the same time, thanks to the shifted center of gravity towards the hand, it is very easy to control at low dynamics. The round head also helps me articulate small note values ​​on the cymbal, because I like the dark, but at the same time specific sound of the ride. I would say that this model is ideal for any groove music.

With these sticks, I no longer wonder if they are the right ones for me, they meet demanding requirements, and I fully enjoy playing drums.
