Why Balbex drumsticks?
Balbex sticks were the ones that I began with. It was my first experience with sticks and that was because people that I looked up at were using them. I also tried other sticks from Czech brands to world producers but after few years I got back to them and I am very happy with them. Drummers have what they require from sticks. Thanks to my own model HS-Stage and Hanzissimo, I have sticks that are tailored to my hands’ needs but they might suit you as well!

My model HS-Stage – these sticks are great support during concerts and recording as well. For me, they are some kind of energy bars. Their centre is bit moved towards the front, so thanks to gravity they help me with hitting. Thickness and length suit my hands and the tip is round, therefore it doesn’t damage a drumhead while at the same time it has sharper sound on ride. The surface is standard Balbex double grip, it simply doesn’t slip even when you sweat a lot! These sticks should be tested on stage, not on a practise pad! ?

 My model Hanzissimo – sticks designated solely for sensitive and very dynamic play. They can be used in orchestras where you have to precisely play not only “ff” but also “ppp”. Thanks to rather wider body the sticks are absolutely under control. Their centre is move to the back in order to make the front part including tips as light as possible and they didn’t make you to hit heavier. Ideal for performing the quietest motives. The whole body is made from hornbeam wood, which for this purpose seems to be the most natural and of course with varnish which isn’t slippery, even if a conductor glower at you and you sweat much more ?
